Bob Finkelstein
Bob Finkelstein is a Philadelphia-based videographer and visual story teller with extensive experience documenting live performances and conducting interviews that are used as promotional materials for arts organizations, nonprofits and businesses in and around the Philadelphia region.
His work documenting live theater, dance and other cultural events has included projects that have been sponsored by or appeared at some of the region’s influential cultural institutions, including the Arden Theatre, FringeArts, Temple University, Bryn Mawr College, Swarthmore College, the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage and also the Public Theater in New York City. He also has a nearly two-decade long history of conducting interviews, first as a print reporter for wire services and daily newspapers, and currently on camera as a freelance videographer. His interview work as a freelance videographer has featured a wide range of subjects, from street-hardened battle rappers and the struggles of HIV-positive residents of Philadelphia, to the insights of executive officers and employees of all levels at some of the east coast’s largest and fastest growing corporations, including Comcast, Vanguard, Reebok, Politico and Northrop Grumman. As a print reporter, Bob provided coverage in the financial markets of Chicago for Bloomberg News and covered state government for a daily newspaper in Ohio. He has also written for a variety of publications in the Philadelphia area, including the Philadelphia Business Journal, The City Paper and Philadelphia Weekly.
