On August 14th, all three collaborators meet together in-person for the final group engagement before the community sharings in NYC and Philadelphia.
Kun-Yang, Pallabi and Gus decided to work more intentionally on connecting their responses to Gus’ prompt together to bring out the sameness and differences from each other. After some discussion, it was decided that Pallabi would join Gus and Kun-Yang in NYC for the first community sharing, as it was previously structured to just include Gus and Kun-Yang.
All 3 artists discovered and focused on new mindsets while creating movement:
1). LETTING GO- Letting go of the multiple hats they each wear, letting go of what comes tomorrow, Letting go of control, Letting go of each of their habits.
2). DOING- Just showing up with the full self and explore what is available at that moment.
3). SIMPLICITY- By committing yourself to the process, even simplest things can become something.
